SHAWNA BECK

My photography expresses who I am — without the need to speak.

Shawna Beck is a twenty-six year old El Paso, Tx based commercial photographer who specializes in Advertising, Fashion, Portraits, and Beauty.  Shawna is highly committed and professional, and strives to provide a bold but fresh perspective with her photography within every one of her image captures.

Shawna is in her final year for her BFA from the Academy of Art University.  However, her work is already being displayed and recognized in several print and online publications available across the country, such as Bettie Page a Tribute Book (First Edition), Bettie Page a Tribute Calendar Contest, where her image was one of eighteen images chosen from countless entries to be the calendar's August 2011 spread and a feature on the calendar's cover, Examiner.com, and The Pin-Up Magazine.

Whether with lighting, color, angles, or dynamic movement, Shawna allows her viewers look at commercial photography through a creative but comprehensible perspective.
